Theater Organist Dennis James accompanies silent comedy short films on The Mighty Wurlizter, with Hall favorites Connie Corrick and Hugh Hastings for Silent Movie Sunday at Kenyon Hall at 7:30 pm.

Dennis, Connie Corrick, and Hugh Hastings return for their third program in the new series, 1915 in Sight and Sound – silent movies and popular music from 100 years ago. This time they celebrate the Ragtime era, and Dennis is bringing us some classic piano rags by some of the greatest composers of the genre—all works debuted in 1915—by Joseph Lamb, James Scott, Felix Arndt and others. 1915 was also the year of the Fox Trot, and one of the silent films in the show will be the that year’s hit, “Fox Trot Finesse,” featuring Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Drew mixing silliness with subtlety in their pleasant little two-step comedy.

Reserved table seats are $14. Row seating is $12 general and $10 seniors. With a reservation, row seating is only $10 general and $8 seniors. Elementary, middle, and high school students are $5. Preschool children are free.
