On Monday, January 6th, 6:30-7:30 pm, everyone is invited to the West Seattle (Admiral) Library’s preview lecture of Seattle Opera’s upcoming production of Verdi’s “Rigoletto.”

Join us for a look inside Verdi’s iconic melodrama, “Rigoletto,” that boasts an action-packed plot, memorably complex characters and a hit parade of well-crafted music.

Hugely popular ever since its Venice premiere, this tense and brutal tale of a deformed court jester caught in a web of corruption, lechery and revenge runs the full emotional gamut in true operatic fashion.

The preview will include recorded musical excerpts designed to enhance the enjoyment and appreciation of the production.

Library events and programs are free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
