Join City Fruit in Spring 2015 to help Save Seattle’s Apples!

In an effort to build awareness and strengthen the health of Seattle’s urban fruit canopy, City Fruit is hosting neighborhood-specific pest prevention campaigns. Join us as we unite, then diverge to walk door to door in West Seattle educating and assisting homeowners in protecting their apple trees from pests. We will meet May 16, 2015, 10:00 am–1:00 pm at 8845 34th Ave SW (near Fauntleroy Park) to receive supplies and learn proper technique before breaking into groups and helping our neighbors care for their fruit trees! The more apples we can protect, the more fruit we can harvest and share with the community.

This event is easy and fun for all ages! After the work party join us at a local neighborhood pub, grab a drink and some grub and socialize with your neighbors!

Sign-up here to volunteer and check out all of our other upcoming events.

Wear sturdy shoes and clothes to work in. Snacks, drinks and gloves will be provided. Email natalie@cityfruit with any questions you have about volunteering or about other ways to get involved.
