At the Southwest Library Sunday, April 12, 2015, 3–4 pm:

Read a book, learn what others think, explore how it relates to your world. Registration is required.

Second to fourth graders will talk about the book “The Willoughbys” by Lois Lowry, then create projects and play games related to the text.

Copies available to check out at the Southwest Branch starting March 23rd. Kids don’t have to have read the book to participate.

In this tongue-in-cheek take on classic themes in children’s literature, the four Willoughby children set about to become “deserving orphans” after their neglectful parents embark on a treacherous around-the-world adventure, leaving them in the care of an odious nanny.
