The singer/rapper/songwriter grew up in Seattle (and Vashon) and used to sing backup for the popular band, Dodi, as well as headline for her own trip-hop group. Only when she left her hometown and let the world kick her around a bit did she discover her own flavor that is now known as NMERCER. A fearless rapper who can sing on the mic with a live vocal processor and two back-up dancers. Together, they create a Hip-hop show that’s fun, hilarious and will make your booty shake unless you’re paraplegic.

“I had nothing to talk about yet,” says NMercer, “I came from a middle class family with a pretty normal life. I hadn’t struggled the way I needed to struggle and learned the things I needed to learn.”
