Classical guitarist Meredith Connie returns to Kenyon Hall to celebrate the release of her second CD, the Latin influenced Sol Y Sombras (Sun and Shadow). The program features a variety of music with solo guitar works and chamber pieces for the combination of cello and guitar, trumpet and guitar, and guitar trio. Works include tangos from Argentina and music influenced by South American folk music, as well as two world premieres for trumpet and guitar.
Featured performers joining Meredith are Chris Worswick on cello and George Steward on trumpet, with guitarists Omar Oyarzabal and Patrick Donnelly.
Reserved table seats are $14. Row seating is $12 general and $10 seniors. With a reservation, row seating is only $10 general and $8 seniors. Elementary, middle, and high school students are $5.
