Longfellow Creek Forest Volunteer Event with EarthCorps
Saturday December 5th 2015, 10 am-2 pm

Join EarthCorps and the Green Seattle Partnership at Longfellow Creek
and help us complete our Fall Planting Challenge where we will plant the 10,000th plant! All year long West Seattle volunteers have been preparing Longfellow Creek park for planting, and now it’s time to get new trees and shrubs in the ground! EarthCorps supplies gloves, tools, water, light refreshments and volunteer education that covers: safety, tool use, forest health, information on the park, and the importance of the work you’ll be doing. At this project, we will be planting and applying woodchip mulch.

Sign up online at : http://www.earthcorps.org/volunteer.php

Families and groups welcome! No experience necessary.

Meet near the intersection of SW Juneau St and 26th ave SW.
