CAMPAIGN KICKOFF EVENT!
Sunday, March 29 from 1-3 pm! with special guest Seattle Councilmember Nick Licata

Please join me in my neck of the woods to kick off my Seattle City Council District 1 campaign with special guest, my boss, Nick Licata. On the afternoon of Sunday, March 29, 2015, my campaign will be hosting a kickoff celebration complete with food and drink at the Highland Park Improvement Club.

Please feel free to stop by whenever, though we will have a short program at roughly
2 pm. A $30 kickoff contribution is suggested to help cover event costs and keep the
momentum going in the coming months, although all are welcome and anything helps. If
you would like to help the campaign but cannot make it, please visit our website –
www.district1forherbold.com — to donate now! You can also visit our Facebook page here. We will also have other events around the city in the coming months. Thank you so much for the support and contributions; it’s time to kick off this campaign!

And here are a few endorsement quotes, just for fun!
“From her commitment to cleaning up the Myrtle staircase that connects with Sanislo
Elementary to her support for arterial speed reductions on 35th SW, Lisa is
dedicated to making it safe, easy, and accessible for people to go by foot.”-Lisa
Quinn, Director of Feet First
“Lisa Herbold has been a stalwart supporter of High Point, helping secure replacement housing for low income families, and funding for the High Point P-Patch and the Neighborhood House computer lab.” -Mark Okazaki, Neighborhood House Executive Director
“Lisa has years of solid experience addressing the needs of the City as a whole and would be able to lead on Day 1. Lisa was an indispensable voice in helping us navigate a complicated situation when Nickelsville was next to our neighborhood. Helping to bring the concerns of our community directly to the table in City Hall, she proved to be full of compassion, an effective problem solver, eloquent, well versed in legislation, a good listener, and was able to see all sides of the situation.” -Carolyn Stauffer, Highland Park resident and member of Highland Park Action Commitee
