Future of Aerospace – High School Career Expo

The Future of Aerospace Career Expo provides high school students in the underserved communities of greater Seattle an opportunity to get information and assistance on obtaining careers in aviation and aerospace. During the career expo, students will meet with representatives from various aerospace industries to gain insight into the opportunities available in aerospace along with the necessary educational paths required for entry into the various fields.

Goals of the Career Expo are to:
~ Educate at-risk youth on the opportunities available in the aviation and aerospace industries
~ Provide a clear educational roadmap for careers in aviation and aerospace
~ Inspire youth to study by showcasing the success that can be obtained through education
~ Improve academic performance with emphasis on science, math, and technology
~ Motivate students to obtain higher education to become eligible for the career paths available
~ Provide career focus to youth and emphasize the importance of education aiming to prevent dropouts
~ Encourage community members to actively work with at-risk youth
