Friday March 25th is our 5th (hard to believe its been 5 years already) annual movie night fundraiser for Duwamish Rowing Club. The venue this year again is the Duwamish Longhouse.

The fun starts at 7 pm, admission is 20 dollars which includes the movie, popcorn, and a beverage of your choice (yes there is beer from Lower Case, Tin Dog, and Burdick). There will also be a raffle, chili, and sweets for purchase as well.

DRC is the only rowing club on the Duwamish, we are located here in South Park and many of our youth and adult rowers are from right here in the neighborhood. Part of our mission is affordability and we are a mostly volunteer club. We rely a lot on our yearly fundraiser so I hope that a lot of you can make it out to support us.

New members are of course always welcome, for more information about DRC please check out our website: duwamishrowingclub.org/

This year’s film is Man On Wire:
On August 7, 1974, a young Frenchman named Philippe Petit stepped out on a wire illegally rigged between the World Trade Center’s twin towers in New York…
