Barton Street P-Patch is hosting a Fall Festival on Saturday October 17th, noon to 4 pm:

Join us! We are celebrating a fabulous harvest season with fresh home-baked pies and hot wood-fired pizza from our very own oven.

The 2015 gardening season—sunny, hot and bountiful—is winding down as fall sets in. Now it’s time to celebrate our hard work, delicious harvest and the many ways in which the Barton Street P-Patch has become a treasured asset in our community.

The annual Fall Harvest Festival will be fueled by hot, fresh pizza from our wood-fired community oven and home-baked pies—both savory and sweet—by community gardeners.

This will be the 3rd annual “Pie Off” as gardeners come together to bake up their best pies to benefit the garden. Pies will be available whole or by the slice and funds will to a good cause: The Barton Street Community Garden and P-Patch. We will fire up the wood-fired masonry oven for pizza. Come enjoy the garden and an opportunity to explore urban agriculture, the use of traditional community ovens as well as masonry oven cooking techniques. This garden event is open to all.

Bring your own toppings and cutlery for pizza, slices will be available for donations.

Barton Street P-Patch is a trash free site; pack it in pack it out.
