I’m having a bake sale this weekend (12/15-12/16) and next weekend (12/22-12/23). All items are AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS and made from scratch with excellent ingredients: chocolate chip cookies, butter cookies, bittersweet brownies, bacon brownies, chocolate orgasms, maple-bacon cookies, Christmas cookies, cupcakes, whoopie pies, vegan goodies and more! Coffee, tea and hot cocoa too!

Can’t make it to the bake sale? Order your sweet treats via email or phone (ediviccaro@gmail.com) (206-214-8900)! I will also DELIVER treats (or dinner!) to your home (minimum order $10), and will even cook you dinner! Email me at ediviccaro at gmail dot com for a menu and price list.

The Good Cause:
I’m a young, disabled mom with an incurable connective-tissue disorder, and a survivor of domestic violence. Six years ago, after my daughters and I escaped our abusive past, I met an incredible man, married him and united our four kids in a new-school, punk-rock Brady Bunch!

This winter we sold all our possessions and moved to Seattle, seeking compassionate healthcare, a progressive community, and better job opportunities. Unfortunately, our amazing, beautiful, funny, talented, goofy children had to be separated during the move. :-( Two of our super awesome offspring are still back east, staying with family, until we can afford to get them here. We are trying to sell $2,000 in baked goods and home-cooked dinners for plane tickets plus unaccompanied-minor fees (damn airlines!) so that our family can be reunited for
Christmas.

Seattle, we have already fallen in love with your progressive attitudes, your art, your restaurants, your quirky style, and your vibrant, funky, friendly people. We are reaching out to you now; please help us share this wonderful city with our family! With your help, all of our kids will be back together before Christmas and it will be a VERY happy holiday for one loving little Family That Could!

EVERY little bit helps, so please spread the word!

  1. I wonder if anyone would be willing to donate airline miles to make this happen? Or will the airlines let you give your miles to someone else? Unfortunately I don’t have enough miles to purchase a ticket, but it’s a thought!

**UPDATE** Saturday: We were rained out by 11 am today, but still had lots of lovely customers!

We’ll be back tomorrow morning, but please note that we will be in the courtyard of the building at 2132 to protect the goodies from the rain.

    Thanks for your support!

  4. Looks like the weather isn’t cooperating today either. If we get rained out, please feel free to give us a call at 206 214 8900 and we can deliver treats in the area!
