    Thanks for the input about Turkey donations. QFC offers turkeys for $0.47 cents a pound with a $20 spend. I usually buy one 16 lb bird at a QFC, a few canned goods or staples, then get a second bird for the lower price, and rinse/repeat at the second QFC. Looks like White Center is the winner for four birds this year.

      I couldn’t find any requests online for the West Seattle Food Bank so I have a message out to them to ask. We’ll publish some kind of update once I hear from them – might be Monday. – TR

        … and from the WSFB (where staff illness delayed the announcement), they’ll happily take turkeys Monday – Tuesday 9 am – 3 pm or Wednesday until 7 pm (35th/Morgan). I’ve added this to the Holiday Guide, which will again be the seasonal repository of donation info as well as events, tree lots, etc…. TR
