Where does the judging take place- and is it in the same spot(s) every year? I didn’t see any of the drill teams perform this year. I feel like they were saving their energy for a judging location further along on the parade route. maybe I can see some more performances next time.

Judges are all along the route and their locations are not publicized (I don’t even know where they are, but learned this general bit of information – and mentioned it – a couple years back). I was near the start of the route along Hiawatha and most if not all of them performed, FWIW.
