My daughter started doing their free weekend learn to skate when she was 6 or 7, and I can not recommend this organization enough.

Our daughter isn’t old enough but I’m really looking forward to signing her up for this when she is.  I love to see the local skate parks and was oblivious to the history until watching a documentary featured here after the passing of the inspirational “Monk”.  Are there any adult learn to skate/ skatepark programs @ Delridge or Roxhill where a middle-aged dad can learn to skate a park with reasonable assurance he won’t be bullied by skate toughs?

Same here, MJP –we found the Sunday free skate programs at Jefferson and my youngest daughter did summer camp last year at Delridge (great location for summer with some shade) and loved it.  She’s scheduled back again this summer, too and can’t wait.

Sorry, comment time is over.
