SPORTS: Chief Sealth International High School athletes’ success at Metro track and field championships

The report is from Chief Sealth International High School track and field coach Lorna Considine, forwarded by Nicole Sipila of the Sealth PTSA:

In the history of Chief Sealth Athletics there has been no one that has achieved what ELIJAH JACKSON did last Friday.

He became the 2018 METRO CHAMPION in the LONG JUMP 22’8”, TRIPLE JUMP 44’5”, and HIGH JUMP 6’4”. He is also the anchor leg of the MENS 4X100 RELAY who came in 4th and will advance to the District Meet. We are very proud of what he’s accomplished and look forward to seeing him succeed on his journey back to the STATE TRACK MEET next weekend. Good luck!!!!!

Also join me in congratulating the following student athletes who’ve advanced to the 2018 District Track Meet this Wednesday and Friday: EVE ELMORE, JASMINE SMITH, CHLOE MYERS, QUINN WILEY, SADIQUE CALLOWAY, DONNIE MCMILLAN, DIEGO JACKSON, and BRANDYN GIBSON! Good Luck, Seahawks!

Seen that kid compete since he was a freshman. Very talented and I hope he gets an offer ( if hasn’t received one already). Jumps coach is a great coach as well
