FOLLOWUP: Opening day for Brass Knuckle Bistro – with a free sample

Elvis would love the opening-day samples at Brass Knuckle Bistro, the White Center restaurant just opened by a West Seattle family (we first introduced you to them back in August). As noted here a week and a half ago, today is indeed the first official day for the sandwiches/salads/sides eatery at 9602 16th SW, open until 8 pm. See more photos on our partner site White Center Now.

Peanut butter and bacon, now that’s the right start to a sandwich. And I’m truly sorry for those with alergies! There is something about peanuts, though, good or bad, they get humans’ attention one way or the other. Me, I’m an addict (Skippy Chunky) and bacon, peaches, raisins, bananas, chocolate, it’s all good.

I went there today. It was ok, I had the pastrami sandwich with jalapeño mustard and it was really good but the roll they used does not go with it. They need to change that. The fries were great- I had the hot souce and blue cheese- they nailed it.

If the fries were great and the sandwich was really good why would you say it was “ok”?

Sorry, comment time is over.
