West Seattle, Washington

Hi, we found this cat on our porch (added: in Admiral District area) and we don’t know who it belongs to! Thank you. Please contact 206-250-1129.

Roughly what part of West Seattle are you in? There are missing cat signs on 26th Ave SW south of Roxbury that feature a cat that looks kind of like that. Later, I can provide the contact info from the signs if it would be helpful.
Hi
Roxbury and 26th is around a 20 minute drive from us. So I don’t think that that is the cat
But if you could maybe send a picture to me that would be awesome.
Here’s a pic of the flyer. Now that I’m looking at it I don’t think it’s the same cat. The flyer cat has a lot of white on his nose but your porch cat doesn’t.
I went back through the postings here and found that the poster kitty is likely passed on.

This looks like the cat that’s visiting us on 45th & SW Hill St. 206-605-0456
Hi Bill,
yeah, we live around there. Do you know whose cat that is?
Mike-Please call Bill about the cat. One thing I have noticed about the lost/found pet postings is that the people posting comments as well as the owner, rarely check the comments here. Mike is an exception. I can’t figure out why someone who posts their animal as missing on the WSB would not check the comments. Also, they often don’t update the WSB when the pet is found. WSB is doing a huge community service by posting lost and found animals.
You can also take the cat to any vet to scan for a chip. West Seattle Animal Hospital will also hold the pet and have the Seattle Animal Shelter pick it up for safe keeping.
Rick B-I was one of the people who saw the dead cat on 26th near 98th. It was not Barnie. It also might be worthwhile to call Barnie’s owners to see if he is still missing.
We took the cat to the West Seattle Animal Hospital this morning. It was chipped. They’re now working to track down the owner.
It seems the thing with so many cats, the owners let them roam. It is hard to tell when a cat is actually lost or just out for the day. If we see a dog roaming, we automatically check on it and help it.
I was wondering if you were able to find registered owners , theres many also posted missing here , it wouyld be great if they could get a thumbs up if this looked like their lost kitty , but maybe a gliche in registering the microchip , you never know .. But it could give them a chance to straighten it out if it were theres .. Thank you for taking such great care in getting this kitty home & just taking care of it in general , heres a link to my group , im sure if you look in photos , theres several duplicates lol …thank you again
