WEST SEATTLE CRIME WATCH: Police search after robbery, hit-run

A reader reports that two of their relatives were taken to the hospital after a robbery and hit-and-run incident at 25th SW and SW Myrtle about an hour ago. The reader says two people in a white Toyota “pulled a gun on one, stole everything, beat him, then fled the scene,” after hitting the other man with a car, and damaging his car too. We’re working to find out more. (Added: No new info, so we will follow up Wednesday. If you have any information, the case number is 17-439646.)

Were these two “people” young black males in their late teens early 20’s possibly driving a newer White Toyota Corolla or similar vehicle? If so it’s very likely the same two black males in similar car that chased us all around several blocks in an attempt to elude them  after they almost t-boned us in the intersection of 34th/Holden back in August, throwing things at our vehicle and brandishing what appeared to be a weapon.

Police were called back then but nothing ever came of it, this sounds eerily similar to the incident we experienced.

If it is the same two “suspects” that we encountered, they need to be arrested and NEVER see the light of day again.

We have no followup information yet, on description or anything else. Will add to this with whatever we are able to get.

… and I just got a bit more. But the police report says the suspect vehicle was a “small blue sedan.” Only description of one person, “skinny, black, male, early 20s.” No arrests to date.

John, you could call in to that police report and add what you just wrote here. That is frustrating if there was never a police report made for your incident. Or if they did write a report, that the two can be connected.

    Hello,

Is there any update on this case?

I live at 24th and SW Myrtle – did not hear or see anything, but this is obviously concerning as this was 1 block away from our home.

Hope victims involved are doing ok.

Sorry, comment time is over.
