One West Seattle Crime Watch reader report today – from Annika:

Seems like a lot of bike racks are now getting stolen…I guess the people that these rip offs sell the stolen bikes to are asking for racks now. :>(

Probably more that some of these racks are really expensive, and easy to steal.

Sorry to hear that. Wondering if it was locked to the truck? I have one too. They’re not cheap.

Systemic failure of the criminal justice system.

I was assaulted yesterday at my home yet no arrest was made, the person smiled at the cops knowing the impunity of the system.  My lizard brain is mad I did not respond in kind, the rational brain was in control.

The system is broken, coddling criminal behavior needs to stop!

This is crazy. We had the same rack stolen, that same exact night just around the corner from you. It was attached to my car on Brandon 30 ft from Fauntleroy.

My Thule rack was stolen from the upper parking lot at Lincoln Park in broad daylight today. Had some sweet stickers on it.
