(SDOT MAP with travel times/video links; is the ‘low bridge’ closed? LOOK HERE)
6:55 AM: If you use the 1st Avenue S. Bridge, be aware that a crash is blocking one northbound lane. That’s it for incidents in the area so far.
Interesting that nothing’s brought up about large fire response at homeless camp (all the motorhomes and tents) on Spokane St, under WSfwy early this morning. Streets were a little clogged up around 4:15am as Motorhomes were burning. Was also lots of emergency activity in area (Spokane st.) starting shortly after 3am. As shown on link below.

We weren’t at the 4 am fire. Fire units were cleared by 5:30 am, long before our traffic coverage started for the day. We did go out after daylight and have a story up now.
(Update) Actually the last unit left at 5:20. http://www2.seattle.gov/fire/IncidentSearch/incidentDetail.asp?ID=F170033171
PS The 3 am call you are referencing was completely unrelated and in a different location – a medical response at 2nd/Spokane. The fire was the 4 am call at East Marginal/Spokane.
Sorry, comment time is over.
