TRAFFIC ALERT: Olson/Myers signal

We don’t know if this is a case of ‘again’ or ‘still,’ but the Olson/Myers signal is flashing red, as also reported this morning. A texter notes this is causing big backups (we can confirm, having just gone through it ourselves, currently pulled off the road nearby to publish this).

I was wondering the same thing, again or still.

It was flashing red this morning at 530am and again/still at 300pm but there was someone working on the “box” at 300 if that’s any consolation.

Came  to post on this. Still flashing as of 5:40 or so, big backups as noted.

I finally got throught to SDOT a few minutes ago (long hold time), and they said they had just sent someone out.  She’d just stared her shift so she didn’t have any details.  It was flashing when I went throught at 7:30 this morning and again at 4:30 this afternoon.

Thanks for the updates! If anyone goes through and discovers it back to normal operation, please advise – I won’t be able to go back and look for some time and there are no cameras in the area …

Thanks for alert to further remind me to stay away from this stretch of seeming dangerous roadway I will steer clear in my work vehicle go the long way or around to avoid it.

Seems to be again. I went through, southbound, around 3:30 this afternoon, and it was functioning normally.

The lights are completely out this morning, (530am) not even a blinking red…be careful everyone and treat it as a complete 4-WAY STOP— RED LIGHT.

Update on Olson /Meyers signal lights:

It’s after 9:40AM and signals just went on.

Someone has arrived (again) to work on them.
