TRANSIT ALERT: South Seattle College’s main campus bus stop back in service Wednesday

A transit alert from South Seattle College (WSB sponsor), taking effect tomorrow:

Starting Wednesday, November 30, King County Metro Routes 125 and 128 will resume service to South Seattle College’s main campus bus stop located to the west of the Robert Smith Building (RSB on the campus map, which you can see here).

The temporary stop located near the Northwest Wine Academy in the north parking lot will no longer be in service.

Construction on campus had led to the change.

This is, hands down, the bast transit news I’ve heard all year.

    Thank god that’s over.

Hallelujah! How many speed bumps did we have to endure?  Thankful for the small things in life.  :-)

    *sigh*

We’re still doing the re-route. The signage and stop are still there. :’ (

Sorry, the announcement came directly from the school and is on the SSC website as well, but I will check in with the communications director…

The road in front of the school is open. But the signs pointing the bus to the back lot and the chairs for the stop are still there. The 125 did the re-route this morning instead of stopping in front of the school.

SSC communications director Ty Swenson says – long story short – this should be remedied now; Metro let all drivers know at 9:30 am that the reroute is over.

    Fingers crossed!

Sorry, comment time is over.
