4th Ave NB was a disaster this morning because of construction that had 4th restricted down to one lane at Yesler. I know that’s outside of West Seattle, but it killed our commute this morning and I wonder if they will be doing the same in coming days.

There was an advisory a couple weeks ago about utility work that would be continuing for some weeks. I’ll see if I can go find it again.

      (ADDED) Here it is:

We know 4th is a popular route into downtown and use it ourselves but this seemed possibly a little too far north for daily effects but since you mention it, we’ll include it in the alerts each week. – TR

It didn’t look like utilities work. This looked like a large-scale cement pouring for a foundation for a new structure going up between Dilling Way and Yesler on 4th. A huge cement truck was taking up two lanes and there was no warning until Yesler, which was way too late to change course.

Just added link to my previous reply. Sorry, apparently part of the new Yesler Way bridge project.
