Hate-Free Delridge’s ‘party with a purpose,’ report #1

image

The first community gathering for Hate-Free Delridge is at the midpoint, with about 100 people enjoying (free!) dinner and music, and an open mic coming up at 7. Reporter Linda Ball, who has chronicled the formation of HFD, is there and will tell the full story in a separate report later – we just wanted to remind you there’s still time to join in! All ages welcome; it’s on until 8 pm at Youngstown Cultural Arts Center (4408 Delridge Way SW).

Thank you for covering this very positive community event. In this day and age positive activities such as this are not considered news worthy even though this is the most important news. You guys are on the right track.

Who organized this event and do they have a website or contact info for questions? Thanks in advance. I clicked on their name in bold above, but it doesn’t appear to be a link.

Hi, we’ve reported on Hate-Free Delridge multiple times as they have met and planned this over the past month and a half. They don’t have a website. I will ask our reporter who’s been covering this if there is a public contact address – they have been very focused on face-to-face involvement and that was the purpose of Saturday’s event. – TR
