(added) WEST SEATTLE HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL CAR WASH: The WSHS volleyball team is raising money today with a car wash, 9 am-3 pm, at Les Schwab in The Triangle: “Please come out and support to help us get new equipment! $10-$20 donations suggested! Go, Wildcats!!!” (Fauntleroy/Alaska)

CASPAR BABYPANTS BENEFIT CONCERT: 10:45 am at Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, kindie-rock superhero Caspar Babypants plays West Seattle for the second time in three days, this time to raise money for Pike Market Child Care and Preschools, as explained in our calendar listing. WILDCATS JUNIOR FOOTBALL & CHEER DONATION DRIVE & SCRIMMAGE: Starting at 11 am at Southwest Athletic Complex – textile-dropoff donation drive in the parking lot goes until 4 pm, scrimmages (free for spectators) in the stadium go until 7 pm. Details in our preview. (2801 SW Thistle)

      We do when we hear about them! Didn’t get word of this one until it was already well under way toay. We ask everyone with events to let us know as soon as possible – at least a week so we have time to get it into our calendar and time for it to be seen. More people will see it here than a poster on a pole or a Facebook event listing, so we always say, send us the info, get it on your own website if you have one, THEN do everything else!
