10:59 PM: Police are searching in Morgan Junction for someone reported to have just robbed, or tried to rob, West Seattle Thriftway (California/Fauntleroy/Morgan; WSB sponsor). Early information from scanner has this description: Man in his 40s, dark skin, bald, 6′, heavyset, wearing a blue sleeveless sweater or vest and blue basketball shorts, last seen headed away from the store, northbound on California SW. He is reported to have demanded money from a cashier, though no weapon is reported to have been seen. Call 911 with any information.

11:45 PM: A K-9 team joined the search for a while, but no arrest reported so far.

    I knew I’d find a reason for the sirens and lights going up and down Graham. Locking doors… Thx WSB!

    He probably headed for the circle building.

      They searched that far north and past it.

      yep let’s blame all crime on low income housing!

     Should we be surprised? The guy who robbed the Bank of America, last week and later released on his personal recognizance, has probably set some kind of precedent, at least in the minds of some.

    That’s a hyperbole statement Oakley and something the person you’re accusing did not do.  They did make this accusa ton for this particular crime though

    @oakly

    the low income is irrelevant, that building has had and had a lot of serious crime issues, corrupt management, and sha does nothing.

    i know this for s fact as I was subjected to living there, and initially flat out lied to about the building and certain issues concerning my disability.

    ive talked to a few people still stuck there and know it’s gotten much worse from even when I was there.

Sorry, comment time is over.
