HIIT Lab: Welcome, new West Seattle Blog sponsor!

HIIT Lab is a brand-new fitness studio in Morgan Junction, and a brand-new member of the WSB sponsor team, which means they have the opportunity to let you know what they’re about:

hitlab

In the photo above is HIIT Lab proprietor Cathy Kerns, who says her studio is just the right size for lots of one-on-one attention for clients, and also the right size to ensure they have lots of personal space. HIIT Lab will match a workout to you. Cathy describes it as “a high-end boutique studio that doesn’t take themselves too seriously. If you live in West Seattle and want to work out hard and have a blast in a nice, clean environment, you don’t have to go far.”
.
What do HIIT Lab clients tell Cathy most often? On first sight, she says, they hear, “Wow, this is really nice.” Then, after class, they hear, “That was a fun workout.”

HIIT Lab is at 6417 Fauntleroy Way SW, Suite D, and online at hiitlab.com.

We thank HIIT Lab for sponsoring independent, community-collaborative neighborhood news via WSB; find our current sponsor team listed in directory format here, and find info on joining the team by going here.

Just tried out HIIT lab yesterday and it was fantastic!  It’s a beautiful space with brand new equipment, and the workout was challenging but I felt so great afterwards. I’m planning to return asap. Also, they’re offering intro specials!

I know, right, WSGal?  Glad to help people stay “on island” so they don’t have to deal with traffic just to get to their work-out.  #avoidtheviadoom

Its not obvious from here or the website, but is this personalized training, group training, or classes? Thanks and welcome to Morgan Junction!

    • cathy April 29, 2016 (10:34 am)

Thanks AIDM!  We are super happy to add to the growing Morgan Junction!

The work-outs are all group classes with a coach instructing the entire time.  We change it up everyday but  you’ll always get half cardio and half strength in each 60 minute class which also includes dedicated time for warm-up and cool-down/stretch.  Feel free to reach out with any other questions.  Have a great weekend!

I’m excited to try this out!  I’ll be there in the morning. :)

    • Stacey April 29, 2016 (12:08 pm)

Do newcomers need to come a certain amount of time earlier?

      • cathy April 29, 2016 (3:46 pm)

Great question Stacey!  We recommend newcomers arrive 15 minutes before the start of class.  That way we can give you a lay of the land and also complete some very short paperwork.  See you in the morning!!  : )

Top of the line equipment and great workout! I had been going up to Capitol Hill for a similar workout, and am so glad I can now stay local.

Thank Liz!  Especially now, it’s really best to just stay on island.  : )

Sorry, comment time is over.
