7:11 AM: Sorry about the lack of camera views for the high bridge – you might recall that SDOT was replacing them last weekend, and this morning, neither is working. So far, though, while the wind has kicked up as expected, no major problems in or from West Seattle.
7:51 AM: Still nothing out of the ordinary around here – all the trouble this morning has been on the Eastside. Weather-wise, we haven’t hit the peak period yet – the National Weather Service has shifted the “High Wind Warning” to 8 am-6 pm, with strongest gusts expected to start around 10.
8:50 AM: First power outage of the storm, and it’s a big one, more than 4,800 customers. We’ve launched a separate storm report, starting with the outage – find it here. And if there’s storm trouble in your neighborhood – trees down, etc. – please let us know at 206-293-6302 (text or voice).
