HAPPENING NOW: West Seattle boy’s donation drive for West Seattle Food Bank

Just found out about this – Joey went through his Arbor Heights neighborhood with flyers and is now awaiting (whether you got a flyer or not) donation dropoffs for the West Seattle Food Bank. His family sent the photo and explains, “Joey will be out until 5 pm loading up the truck. He delivered over 70 flyers and is anxiously awaiting for food dropoff in the cold! Stop by and say hi and drop off your donation! 9910 34th Ave SW.”

Thank you everyone who donated. Joey collected over 40 bags of food today and was impressed with everyone who contributed. He loved the chocolate, the muffins and the hot coco people brought him as well! Thank you and we will let everyone know how much in total via the WS food bank.

Thank you so much for thinking of and collecting for the West Seattle Food Bank. I remember that you did this last year as well and it looks like you’ve out done yourself this year. We’re looking forward to seeing you today with all of your food so we can weigh it! You are a wonderful example of what one person can do to help others.
