West Seattle scenes: Moonrise and semi-sunset

Thanks for the beautiful Tuesday evening views! Greg Snyder got the moonrise (above); JayDee photographed the shades-of-silver semi-sunset (below):

Great pics both, but the moonrise is Gothamesque. Is that a word?

I’d like to purchase a print of the moonrise for my classroom. Sometimes I think my students are unaware of the beauty of where we live.

Was driving last night and couldn’t stop to take a photo of the moon… but I knew I could count on someone sending one the the WSBlog! : ) Thank you!!

I too like the moonrise. The moon is one of the toughest things to photograph.

I’ve promised my FB friends truth in sunset advertising and giving them some of our grayer offerings in the spirit of Lesser Seattle.

Yup, saw that overnight on a TV twitter account. Popular spot for photo-taking – if you’ve ever driven by on a full-moon-rise night, they’re sometimes almost shoulder to shoulder!

Sorry, comment time is over.
