Nick – There was a medic call at 6:32 pm at 2700 California SW, which is the Hiawatha address. I don’t know what it was but medic calls are not infrequent throughout the day – nobody texted or called about this, so I have no info suggesting it is anything unusual – TR

Go kayaking with experienced paddlers! It’s easy to roll over, but also easy to recover if you’ve got a buddy to help and the right gear.

Clinker, I don’t know whether these were experienced or inexperienced folks. There was some scanner chatter about them having had trouble with the current, and certainly the weather was blustery late this afternoon – not that much later, we had another downpour on this end.

Sorry, comment time is over.
