Laura is a tremendous asset to our community and role model for the young. She actually might be a role model for us old timers as well! Enthusiastic and well deserved congratulations, Laura!

WSB gets some credit here too… I’d pitched the story with moderate interest, but that all changed dramatically when we shot the footage of the dying stars and the blog ran it! Not only that but WSB kept running tragic video after video which help keep the story in the eye of the public and continued building awareness for the outbreak. HUGE Thank you to Tracy & WSB!

Huge kudos, Laura! You are a tremendous voice for marine life and Seal Sitters thanks you for the important work you do.

And, as always, a well-deserved nod to the absolutely invaluable WSB.
