Video: TV showcase for West Seattle’s ‘dueling’ Little Free Libraries

One month ago, we published the saga of two Little Free Libraries turning up almost simultaneously on Rutan Place SW. Tonight, West Seattleite Jim Dever told their tale on Evening Magazine – it’s the first story on the show, embedded above if you missed it on TV. Thanks to Kerry, who e-mailed to mention it, pronouncing the story “pretty cute.”

This brainless tv-report about the little libraries is just another proof what distinguishes usefull journalism like the WSB from hysterical, useless, timestealing tv news. Even within their report they could not keep up with their absurd announcement. Stupid morons.
So thanks for another reason why I don’t look at tv news ever more, not even in a bar.

Just goes to show ya…humor and fun have their place. Everything doesn’t have to be serious all the time. By all means, Little Free Library fans, enjoy the passing parade and don’t let the cynics about the “news” get you down. We commend you and and enjoyed the story. Looking forward to visiting St. Anne’s again this fall!

I pass by one on 48th on the way down to Lowman Beach. I keep meaning to stop by as I do love to read. I now will bring my books that I have read to put in these little free library’s. Now I know where 2 more are because of this story.

    Thank you.
