I have been to several of these meetings after my house was broken into. They really do listen, but it means that you need to make time to go.

I feel like such a sucker each time I walk my beloved dog, on-leash, there—so many “special” people, allowing their pooches the joy and abandon of off-leash freedom.
I console my dog and tell her that some people and their dogs are simply superior to us, and need not follow the laws/rules to which we rabble of the world must adhere.
Seriously, people, your sense of entitlement is beyond annoying, and I’d love nothing more than to see a huge crackdown, citing you for your arrogant, illegal behavior.
NEVER see animal control or police (out of their car) at Lincoln Park.

Do as I do Kathy and clue them in as to it being illegal but more important an impact on a fragile marine ecosystem. “And I am sure you are responsible and pickup your dog droppings should it go on the shoreline but not everyone is as responsible as you”

At $500 a head for violating the no dogs on beach law they could clean up. There are many “special” people letting their dogs run loose down there who apparently don’t believe the law should apply to them.

What are the chances of having a once or twice a year “off-cycle” weekend morning meeting for those of us who work long hours, late hours, swing shift, etc? I’d like to be more involved, but simply can’t attend these.

I expected to go there with standing room only, nope, I was surprised to see only a handful of attendees. There is so much concern in comments about crime in West Seattle. Lets do whatever it takes to gain control of our city. I thought it was a good place for us to voice our concerns – directly with the police themselves – face to face. I heart West Seattle!!

Concerns voiced = Police acted
