Update: Fire callout in 9200 block of Delridge Way

October 2, 2013 at 7:32 pm | In Delridge, West Seattle fires, West Seattle news | 4 Comments

7:32 PM: Seattle Fire says the big callout to the 9200 block of Delridge Way SW is for a basement fire, and that everyone is out OK. More to come.

7:51 PM: Our crew at the scene says firefighters report the smoke actually came from a piece of equipment that overheated in a big way – equipment used to put designs on T-shirts, we are told. Lots of smoke, no flames. No injuries.

  1. I live in the 9200 block of 17th, one block over from Delridge. I just got home and drove straight down Delridge and saw nothing. ???

  4. Thanks! Our photographer was gone before the previous comment came in – since it wasn’t a big incident – so I couldn’t ask him. Odd they would close the call before pulling everybody out, unless someone is being left behind for ventilation … TR
