West Seattle restaurants: Pecado Bueno opens Thursday

West Seattle’s next new restaurant, Pecado Bueno, has announced it’s opening this Thursday (August 15th) at 5 pm. We first reported back in June that PB, whose original location is in Fremont, would expand here, taking over the former Wing Dome spot at 4523 California SW. As founder James Schmidt explained to us at the time, PB is a “casual,” family-friendly taqueria-style restaurant with a full bar.

PB hosted a buffet with proceeds benefiting Holy Rosary School.
The food was delicious! The margaritas were fantastic. The service was electric and everyone there was tops! Met James, what a very nice guy and an excellent addition to the Junction. I Can see myself and my family frequenting Pecado Bueno. You should too!! Good eats, great prices and outdoor seating for warm summer evenings.
    In a word . . . GO. 2 words. . . GO NOW!!!

but 3 buck margaritas? That sets them apart, doesn’t it? And I like that they use organic, local, try to have sustainable food…and the prices are excellent. We have Italian, Asian, American, American/Irish, steak house….yay for variety…I know I will certainly check it out….

The menu on their Web site says the margaritas are $3.35, but a bargain nonetheless!

Wish something other than Mex (or Asian or pizza) had been added to the Junction. Oh well.

Considering the very wide variety of regional cuisines in Mexico, four Mexican restaurants barely scratch the surface, scsetc.
In fact, the three Mexican cuisines most available in Seattle -and most cities in non-border states- is Tex-Mex, Cal-Mex, and Pueblan (in the West), so the “Mexican” food most Americans are familiar with is really just American food.

Sure it’s another mex place. But you still can get a decent burrito in West SEA.

So disapponted. We went opening night but won’t be back. 50.00 for three people to have tacos? Think we’ll stick to Pica’s. They use less sodium too.

Sorry, comment time is over.
