House-fire call in 4100 block of 47th SW: ‘Food on stove’

Big house-fire callout to Genesee Hill – 4100 block of 47th SW. First engine on scene reports nothing visible – turns out to be “food on the stove.” We’re en route to doublecheck, but just letting you know, in case you saw the big response, that’s what it’s about.

Any idea what all of the police activity in Arbor Heights is about. From Roxbury to 106th and 35th to 24th, there is a lot of patrol cars looking for someone. Alan! What have you been up to?

Also my neighbor emailed our hood to tell them that 2 Men in their 20’s were walking down our dead end street looking in people’s windows. We live at the beach on Seola Lane and they were then again seen walking up Seola Beach Drive to the top of the hill where you get to 106th. Has anyone else reported seeing and possibly talking to 2 guys with eastern European accents that looked out of place? The were average height and in good shape. He didn’t describe them any more than that.

We went over to check b/c KCSO couldn’t tell us anything by phone. Couple guys thought they saw somebody going over a fence. Deputies searched, found no one.
