I will dearly miss the sweet refuge that is The Alki. No other place like it in Seattle. So thankful for the good times I’ve had there. Even though the auction tonight was due to it’s unfortunate closing, I gut laughed, and that’s ONE of the things I love about the place: the irreverent people who enjoyed being there.

Sorry to hear about this. I spent a good nights here: cheap beers, friendly people and a sweet view. I got some stickers from the bartender and tagged up my hometown back in Scotland. Good times!

Going to miss sipping a Drool and looking at that million $ view, but ultimately the Alki is a state of mind.
Hope all the fine gentlemen who run the Alki find a place to relocate soon, we’ll be there waiting for them.
