He raised about 6 million on that trip and could sure as hell pay for his own security. I wish our leaders had the balls to say no when it comes to spending our money for that kind of hog wash. Was this travel really necessary? Was this really the best time to 'lobby' or was it in truth just a good excuse to be at a party and position oneself for another political notch in the belt? I don't care if one is a Repub or a Lib, could we at least try and save some taxpayer dollars by nixing what seems like a bunch of unneccsary travel expenses?
