They came in a bathroom window and caused a lot of damage when the sill gave way from their weight. Our alarm went off and scared them away, but they came in only 10 -15 mins after we left for work so it seems they were watching the house. -- Report any suspicious and unusual behavior in your neighborhoods no matter how small. From what I understand after talking to the home owners, it appears the burglars spent a long time at the house possibly doing Internet research as the combed through things and decided what to steal. It wasn't up for sale but the owner had died and no one else had been living there. So, morbid as it may sound, if you have a neighbor who's recently passed away, it seems some of these would-be burglars are following the obits...
