I have so many great memories of me and my young toddler grabbing our drinks (my mocha, his hot chocolate) and walking over to the Whale Tail park. He's outgrown the park a little but we still love heading down there (even on misty winter mornings) and enjoying the cool vibe there. I'll follow Pioneer wherever they go but part of what makes this place the best coffee house in Seattle is the location. I hope they find an equally great place! Good luck, we love you guys. :) This is just very sad news.
