That four-way stop really is nice, though I think I accidentally didn't stop my first time through. *mortified*

I go waaaay out of my way sometimes just to avoid turning left from Barton.

I have to agree with kim.

.

That's a risky intersection, what with the blind, downhill curve of Henderson/Barton, and many drivers propensity to speed down the hill.

.

This is even more of an issue, now that Metro Routes 60 and 125 make the left turn off of 25th, to head up to Delridge. In the past, it was only the 22, turning right, to make the jog over to 26th.

Yes, the four-way stop needs to stay. Trying to turn left from 25th onto Barton is sometimes death defying when the cars are speeding down the hill.

I am hoping the four-way stop at Barton and 25th will stay when this construction is complete. It is safer now than I've ever seen.

Well, THIS sucks as I am at ground zero. As long as it keeps the project on schedule.... For those drivers turning left onto Thornton from the Southbound Delridge Lane, there IS a "NO LEFT TURN" sign there, for the record.
