Cassis gave us the desire to visit Provence. When we did our second trip to the Nice area we went and visited its namesake.
The old restaurant on Capital Hill transported you to France as soon as you closed the bistro’s door behind you. A glass of champagne or Lillet with a twist . . .and you are on your way. Can’t wait until you open again. Merci!

C’est formidable! It’s high time WS got a French resaurant; all other ethnic cuisines are well represented. I know we had that one try where Pegasus is now, but I think their cuisine was a bit inaccessible for the neighborhood. Go with a more casual ‘bistro’ style, and they should be OK.

Unspecified Alki location? You mean that ONE empty building (next to Starbucks) they’ve been trying to fill with a restaurant for years? My money’s on that…what else is empty and available?
