Corporate PR for Sherwin-Williams has confirmed they received my request for information but has not actually provided an answer yet … Whenever I get confirmation, I’ll publish an update. Multiple non-official sources are saying that’s the plan, though, so I have no reason to doubt it at this point – TR

RB, I agree. Sherwin-Williams is not a specialty paint store. It seems silly to place one by Home Depot, where numerous paint options are already available, and Benjamin Moore can be purchased right down the street at McLendon’s. Now Farrow & Ball would be a different story, but they’d never put a store on Delridge. Wish we had one here!

A casual restaurant (Mexican, maybe) might have worked. They’d have constant business from HD & the cop shop, as well as locals and/or bus riders.

I don’t think anybody really wants a Sherwin Williams there. I hope they don’t build one there because it is going to go out of business and then investors will think Delridge does not work for retail.

The 10 year plan to end homelessness has alot of funds available to build housing. One has to have a solid plan on place to get approval for this money. I wonder if that is the case for this boarding style building.

There actually was a proposal on that site for some kind of drive-thru several years ago, according to the DPD records.

On Delridge it will be a Sherwin-Williams paint store. They like to put these next to Home Depots.
