West Seattle Crime Watch: Admiral armed robbery

Police are searching right now for three people reported to have been involved in an armed robbery at the Admiral Way 7-11, at least one armed with a handgun. A K-9 team was joining the search. No other details so far.

I just drove by, there is a Police SUV at the 7-11 talking to someone in a pickup truck.

I’ve been wondering about all those sirens… I hope everyone’s OK and that those losers get caught soon. The guys that work at that 7-11 are really great and hearing this news just sucks!

No word of an arrest thus far … the track ended in an alley, which usually suggests a getaway vehicle was waiting and, well, got away. We might not get anything more on this but did want to make a note for fellow night owls who might have at least noticed the police activity – TR

Just drove past about 6-8 cops outside the link on Fauntleroy, was that related?

No. A disturbance reported in the area – Fauntleroy/Alaska/38th. Something about a taxi fare.

Guy who works nights was a bit shook but other wise was physically unharmed. I’m a regular at this 7-11, just missed this by 5 min by going to Met Market before stopping in.
These guys had to be desperate/dependent when there is such little cash on hand. Even thought only one guy showed a gun, everyone there could have been subject to a felony murder rule if that one guy decided to pull that trigger. Real easy way to, in 2 or 3 wrong choices over an hour or two can end you in decades of prison.
