Thanks for publishing the link to that application. Looking over the requirements, I can see why every single member of every design review board has an automatic conflict of interest.

If the mayor only solicits “neighborhood” board members who owe their living to developers, it is somewhat less surprising that the entire board is going to be unanimously pro-unrestricted development in each and every case it “reviews.”
