Great cause – but so unfortunate that they decided to trash the neighborhood with yellow paper notices scotched tape to every mailbox in the area.

The woman I saw (and talked to) who was doing the postering on my street assured me that they would be back to pick up any blown down flyers on the street later.

Yeah, right… today (a day later) there are lots of yellow flyers littering the street .

Thank you – Arbor Heights Block Watch Committee! Not even enough courtesy to post an email or web site address to complain to.

Sorry about that Kevin. We did drive through yesterday on a few streets and will be out again today after work. We are just trying to get more involvement from the community. Hope you see you tonight.

The flyers hardly trashed the neighborhood. Plus not everyone reads this blog so they needed to get word out somehow. Anything that drives more participation in this meeting is OK in my book.

Do they have a facebook page? Just curious (though I hate Facebook).

I really take offense to the comment by Kevin. I hardly think flyers for a block watch meeting are “trashing” the neighborhood. Who do you blame when the wind blows garbage cans over and litter blows around? Most neighborly people will just pick it up. If you really wanted to complain, forget the email…how come I didnt hear you speaking up at the meeting since you were in attendance?

Sorry, comment time is over.
