Whoever does snow removal here needs to pick up the pace. There’s an amazing amount of ice, some of it black ice, on the sidewalks. The usual attention was paid to making it (mostly) nice for cars but that pushed up berms of slush and ice where the sidewalks and wheelchair ramps are. Not good for safety and bloody awful trying to push a shopping cart through it..
Please keep in mind, not everyone around here drives.

I used to see this all the time back in NY in parking lots. There would be so much snow that many spots were taken up by it, and some 4WD drivers would do that. What was fun was when you watched them get stuck and unable to get down. :)

It is strange what makes people happy in Seattle sometimes…

Unfortunately, WWV chose to create those mounds with plows attached to pickups at 2am, waking this household. Why 2am exactly?

Cool parkjob, bro!

Schadenfreude, it’s not just for breakfast anymore.
Do you honestly not find it amusing when someone does something overly pretentious or ego-driven or just plain stupid and then falls down doing it?
Be honest. :)

We used to do that all the time back in Chicago; Chevettes, beater Olds, it didn’t matter.
Comment by CandrewB — 2:35 pm January 22, 2012 #
@ Jim P., +1 to that!
Comment by JN — 2:36 pm January 22, 2012 #
The reason for 2 am is because it’s difficult to plow a parking lot that is full of cars.

Good call Jim P.

Property Manager: LOL, good point. However, aren’t those lots are pretty empty at say, 10pm also? I’m genuinely wondering, and if you’re a WWV PM, I’m just letting you know that scraping the lot at 2am wakes people up. I will also add that it’s a great thing that WWV is doing that for its customers. Thanks.

This guy works at a “delivery business” on 35th right next to my building.. He was out driving like a maniac in their parking lot fish tailing with customers cars in their lot.. then came through our alley way, gunned the gas and almost took out my neighbors car on Thursday night. He tears up our alley in the rain because it has really big deep pot holes.. only making them worse. He nor this picture thrill me.

If you find yourself blaming where you live for anything you don’t like in your life, please move.

Why because you can, I love the way he parked to get out of the way of the scary people who can’t!!
