The big police response in Highland Park this past hour, around 9th/Henderson, is linked to a family-violence case, according to police. They say a father and son clashed after one showed up at the residence with a gun. We’re told one is in custody and the other was still being sought, at last report.

  1. how fun it was to go to pick up my son from his after school program with multiple cop cars circling the area. Showing up with a gun – hum up to no good

  2. Saw multiple cop cars flying up Trenton as I was off to my son’s baseball game. Hopefully no one was hurt.

  4. Kermit, this is what police told us at the scene. I wish police reports were available in a more timely manner so I could access the official narrative. It’s not likely to be online till early next week. – TR
